Medulin – approx. 5 minutes

The popular holiday resort of Medulin offers a lively waterfront promenade lined with restaurants, cafés, and bars. Numerous beaches, water sports activities, boat trips, and dolphin-watching tours make Medulin one of the most popular destinations in Istria. Especially in the evening, the promenade is perfect for a relaxing stroll and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

Levan Island – approx. 10 minutes

The small island of Levan is located just off the coast of Medulin and can be reached by water taxi. It is known for its crystal-clear waters, laid-back beach bars, and unique atmosphere away from mass tourism. The island is ideal for a relaxing beach day or an excursion with family and friends.

Cape Kamenjak – approx. 15 minutes

HOW TO GET HERE

The best way to reach Liznjan is by car, as this is the most flexible option for getting around the area and exploring the various attractions. Alternatively, you can also take the bus to Liznjan, although the availability of bus connections may vary depending on the season. For international visitors, nearby airports such as the one in Pula offer convenient access to Liznjan, where you can easily reach the town with a rental car or taxi from the airport.

The nearest train stations are located in other cities such as Pula. From there, travelers would need to transfer to alternative modes of transportation such as buses, taxis, or rental cars to reach Liznjan.

By taxi

In Liznjan and its surroundings, there are taxis available for moving around within the town or reaching it. However, there is no dedicated taxi stand in Liznjan, so it is advisable to order a taxi by phone or find one near a hotel or restaurant. Alternatively, ride-hailing services such as Uber may also be available in the region.

By Bicycle

Many people use bicycles to travel around the Liznjan area, especially during the summer months when the weather is pleasant. The area offers a relatively flat landscape, which makes cycling easier, and there are also bike paths along the coast that are perfect for a ride. However, if you are coming to Liznjan by bike, it is important to consider that road conditions may vary depending on the route and it is important to prioritize safety.
